1950s Baumann Bentwood Bistro Dining Chair Honey Set Of Six. Classic Beech bistro chair made in France by the maker Baumann. Baumann is a slightly off the radar French producer just starting to gain traction in the market. Baumann was founded in 1901, by Swiss man Emile Baumann, in Colombier Fontaine, France. Baumann started producing a simple childs chair but grew rapidly to be a large bentwood producer with showrooms all over France. Beautifully made and designed. We have cleaned them, that?s all. Stunning original patina with lovely honey colour frames. We service and wax each chair before they leave our workshop and we deliver chairs of excellent quality. Seat Height 45cm.
