Description:
Arturo Toscanini left an enormous mark on the history of 20th century music. In the first half of his life, he performed mainly in European and American opera houses, and in the second half of his life, as a concert conductor, he performed a wide range of repertoire at an extremely high standard. The NBC Symphony Orchestra from 1937 is one of the earliest successful examples of media mixing in the art of music. The Nutcracker will be reissued in its original analog LP jacket design. The Nutcracker, which Toscanini performed in his first orchestral concert in 1896, is a work that clearly reveals the essence of Tchaikovsky's music while avoiding sentimentality. The pieces by Glinka and Liadov are also full of wildness, and the Prokofiev is exceptionally lively. Sony Music
